Ammeter

 Single and Three phase Ammeter :

• In this, C.T is used (current transformer). It's use for current only.

• C.T has two terminals S1 & S2

     S1 →white , S2 →black

• S1 is given to selector switch

 All S2 are shorted and S2 should be ground compulsory.

• C.T should be selected based on Bus Bar (or) Amper rating (or) Circuit Breaker.

      = Bus bar/C.T (or) C.B/ C.T

• C.T has two amper rating ' 5 & 1'

• ex: 1000/5A (or) 1000/1A.
